Wine Tastings
We offer free wine tastings every Friday from 4:30-6. Gourmet appetizers are provided by the Coast Plaza Hotel and anyone is welcome to join us. It's a great way to try new things without spending a lot of money, and hopefully we'll all learn something! Come sample with us!

Le Jaja de Jau - Although "Ja-ja" means a basic house wine in French, there's nothing boring about these savy sippers. One Syrah and one Sauvignon Blanc, you cannot miss these on our shelve with their art-nouveau labels. Big juicy, ripe fruit from the Syrah and delicious grapefruit and floral sensations from the Sauv Blanc... yummy. $15.80
Las Perdices Torrontes - The staff is floored with this amazing, aromatic, crisp, juicy little number from Argentina. The value you get from it is great, and it's new to BC. A good dinner party bottle. $16.85
Unconventional Wisdom 'Told you so' Viognier - From the makers of Elephant Island fruit wines comes the sister winery, one of the newest in BC. A big-fruit Viognier augmented with 10 percent Sauvignon Blanc, fermented in 100% French Oak: aromatic and mellow, with hints of rhubarb, apricots, and mineral edges. Gorgeous every sip of the way. $25.50
Punch in the Face Shiraz By R Wines - As quoted from the back label: "If you had something light and fruity in mind, then you'd best be pushn' off, mate. This one ain't no tea party. It's a good ol' fashion, big ass, Southern Aussie Shiraz that'll sort you out in no time flat. Chock a block full of jam 'n' spice with a smart little whack of oak." $24.10

At last count, there were more than 80 different wines, and this number grows every week. It's our goal to provide you guys with the best bang-for-your-buck wines we find.
